Eva had to defend her piece. It occured to Mom and Dad that poor little Eva is growing quite used to having to 'defend' her food around here. Probably not such a good parenting technique.
Let's not let the unbelievable pie outweight the excitement of Mom's homemade Jam! Mom's never made Jam before and didn't really think it would be something she'd be capable of. There was only one SOS call to her Mother-in-Law along the way. Not bad right??!! (keeping in mind that three years ago she probably called her at least 4 times for pizza-dough advice!!! Blueberry and Peach.
