Franklin Park Zoo

Today we hit the Franklin Park Zoo in Jamaica Plain. This zoo is about 15 minutes from our house. That's right: there are lions and tigers and bears (oh my) living within escaping distance from our house. Mom isn't feeling great about that- but she'll get over it. To add extra tension to the whole experience this guy was totally staring at Mom for an unnatural period of time. More than enough to grab many shots of his erie grin.

For Eva- mostly it was about what she could get on top of. She and her buddy Carly really enjoyed themselves in the Springy weather.

This guy spent 5 minutes ROARING at us. No joke. Full tilt ROARING. (which the sign said could be heard up to 5 miles away- fun fact for the kids at home.) After that he literally just laid down in the sun and fell asleep. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen.
