NY NY!!!! aka 40 and fabulous

So, as most of you know I smuggled Michael down to New York a few weeks ago to celebrate his 40th birthday (pause for dramatic intake of breathe here...). Lots of exciting stuff going on in this city- needless to say. We took in some of the most amazing theatre we have ever seen (no REALLY- EVER!) and tasted the 'cheap delights' New York has to offer. We capped the weekend off with brunch at Pastis just to remind ourselves that we are at our deepest core basically just Anglo-French snobs. But the most exciting part of New York this particular weekend was a visit from our favorite Stonehomies. Mom went on brain vacation for the weekend and forgot her camera- so these shots are a little throw-back to the pre-digital era. Lots of shots of Michael going "how the he** do I even use this thing?!?!"...
